Happy New Year

As we enter a new year, I find myself pausing to reflect on all that came in 2016. While it was a tough year for many of us in a number of ways, it was also a year of big growth and change for my business. Two of my biggest highlights? I was officially able to commit to Mallory Shelter Jewelry full-time in June, and brought on two part-time employees in the fall.

While I could go on about other highs and lows of 2016, the one thing that has remained consistent for me year after year as a small business owner is the sense of community that comes with it. From long-time customers who have stuck with me since the beginning, to new faces I’ve met at shows and pop-ups, to website visitors and Instagram followers, I am truly grateful for all of the support I’ve felt owning and operating Mallory Shelter Jewelry.

I’m excited to think about what 2017 has in store, but am also taking a moment today to think back to the beginnings of this small business (working from my teeny tiny dining room table) and appreciate how each year brings a new opportunity for growth and change.
