ABOUT MALLORY

Mallory is the founder of Shelter, a well-loved jewelry boutique in Washington D.C. and the creator and designer behind Mallory Shelter Jewelry. She is best known for her custom design offerings including one of a kind engagement rings, wedding bands, and heirloom redesigns. She works with suppliers around the world to source high quality materials and gemstones to create truly special pieces.

After graduating from Syracuse University, Mallory moved to Washington D.C. where she began training under a local goldsmith. It was then that she discovered her love of mixing gemstones and metals, and started brainstorming her first collection. Her timeless pieces are versatile and unique, and are designed to stand alone or worn delicately layered with a mix of jewelry. Each piece in her collection boasts a unique design and strong craftsmanship.

Since launching her in 2014, Mallory’s collection has gained a strong following among a variety of wearers. Her work has been featured in Martha Stewart, Southern Living, Refinery 29, The Washington Post, and more.

In 2018, Mallory opened her brick + mortar shop in DC's Union Market area where she sells her work along with jewelry from 30+ independent designers.
