ABOUT MALLORY
Mallory is the creator and designer behind Mallory Shelter Jewelry. Her handmade, easy-to-wear pieces are versatile and timeless, and are designed to stand alone or worn delicately layered with a mix of jewelry. Each piece in her collection boasts a unique design and strong craftsmanship.
Like most women, Mallory has always been enamored by jewelry, and discovered her knack for design at a young age after inheriting a large gemstone and jewelry supply collection. She learned the ins and outs of beaded jewelry, and created pieces throughout high school and college for family members and friends.
After graduating from Syracuse University, Mallory moved to Washington D.C. where she began training under a local goldsmith. It was then that she discovered her love of mixing gemstones and metals, and started brainstorming her first collection.
Since launching Mallory Shelter Jewelry in 2014, Mallory’s collection – which features versatile jewelry including stacking rings and bracelets, layering necklaces, bold earrings and more – has gained a strong following among a variety of wearers. Her work has been featured in Martha Stewart, Southern Living, Refinery 29, The Washington Post, and more, and her line can be found in boutiques across the country.
In 2016, Mallory expanded her offerings to include custom engagement rings, wedding bands, and heirloom redesigns. She works with suppliers around the world to source high quality materials and gemstones to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
Mallory continues to apprentice with a goldsmith in Washington D.C., and is currently pursuing her gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America.
